Every Vegan Option at Village Inn (Updated: 2022)

Village Inn is a casual dining restaurant chain with over 150 locations across the United States.

Like many restaurants, they feature a wide variety of sandwiches, burgers, salads, melts, and they’re also known for their award-winning pies.

Unfortunately, compared to larger restaurant chains, you’re less likely to find authentic dishes created with vegans in mind. In fact, Village Inn doesn’t have a single vegan dish on the menu.

However, they still have plant-based ingredients such as vegetables and starches, so it’s merely a question of mix and matching some ingredients to create a solid vegan meal.

Vegan Options at Village Inn

The options you’re about to see here are extracted directly from the Nutrition and Allergen Menu made publicly available by the Village Inn.

Village Inn usually serves other beverages such as milkshakes or hot chocolates, however, as far as we know, they don’t have any plant-based alternatives to dairy milk.

Unless (and this may sound silly), you actually provide them with plant-based milk, which is a rather unusual and awkward possibility for most people.

Summary: Village Inn Has A Few Vegan Options

While not a haven for vegans, Village Inn still has some standalone ingredients you can order to create a solid vegan dish. We know it can be hard, but in non-vegan restaurants, you need to find a way to be creative and improvise based on the ingredients they have.

If you’re not sure how you can do that, you can always check this blog post where we share some useful tips on eating out as a vegan. Or if you’d rather watch a video on how to do that, you can always watch this short video on How to Eat Vegan at Non-Vegan Restaurants by Liv B:

Small dinners like the Village Inn are usually limited in terms of what they offer vegans, so if you don’t want to do the heavy lifting yourself— search for bigger (or more popular) restaurants in your area as those may have a wider range of options for vegans.

For instance, restaurants like PF Chang’s and Chili’s are richer in that regard.
